Nachhaltigkeit durch Kapitalflusslenkung im Finanzmarktaufsichtsrecht

In this volume, the author examines the design of the new financial market regulation in the European Union, which is intended to channel capital flows into sustainable economic activities. The study provides new insights into how the term “sustainable” should be defined in financial market supervisory law and what disclosures should be required for this purpose, taking into account a cost-benefit analysis. With these findings, the question can be asked whether financial market supervision law is suitable for achieving sustainable development in the real economy.
