Nachhaltigkeit und Weltbeziehung

This book provides a novel perspective on sustainability discourse by reconceptualising the manifold crises of modernity as crises in our relationship with the world through the lens of resonance theory. The author systematically explains in detail how key concepts from resonance theory, like resonance, alienation, dynamic stabilisation and uncontrollability, can be applied to a variety of sustainability-related topics, both in research and everyday life. His goal is to establish innovative approaches to analysing and interpreting issues regarding ecological and social sustainability and thus to enrich the scientific and societal debate by adding the notion of resonance to the materialistically dominated discourse.
