Neubau der sozialen Wohnraumförderung

The competence for social housing regulation has been delegated in the context of federalism reform I from Bund to Länder from 1 September 2006. Baden-Württemberg was one of the first Länder replacing the former federal regulations by a Landesgesetz (federal state law) – Landeswohnraumförderungsgesetz (LWoFG).
The work presents the results of the evaluation that was conducted by the German Research Institute for Public Administration. Besides an overview about the changes provided for in the Landesgesetz, it describes the results for the different areas of the evaluation and gives recommendations for the further development of the law. Since the evaluation concerns different parts of social housing regulations, the work should be particularly relevant for those Länder which have also adopted regulations in the area.
