Beiträge zum Strafrecht – Contributions to Criminal Law
Description
This anthology brings together the essays published in German by Keiichi Yamanaka since 2012. In his work, Yamanaka understands the historical development of Japanese criminal law as being oriented towards the changes in Japanese society. The need for Japanese criminal law to respond to social changes is greater today than ever before: new technologies and increasing social tensions are also challenging criminal law. In his essays, Yamanaka takes up these challenges and attempts to open up new perspectives on criminal policy and criminal law doctrine. Keiichi Yamanaka is professor emeritus at Kansai University in Osaka and conducts comparative research on Japanese and German criminal law.
