Neuregelungen für Windenergieanlagen

The conference proceedings contain the written presentations of a scientific symposium held in March 2023 at the Technical University of Berlin with the topic „New regulations for wind energy plants – requirements for regional planning and urban land use planning“. The reason for this conference was the Wind-an-Land-Gesetz (Wind on Land Act), which came into force and which, among other things, includes the Wind Energy Area Requirements Act and amends the Spatial Planning Act. The 2% area target of the WindBG was presented and its effects on other legal areas were described. In addition to practical reports from three federal states, the handling of existing regional planning and urban land use plans as well as the legal consequences of not achieving the targets were discussed.
