Niedersächsisches Wörterbuch

The „Niedersächsisches Wörterbuch" (Nds. Wb. – “Lower Saxony Dictionary”) is an alphabetically arranged dictionary of the Low German dialects spoken in the federal states of Lower Saxony and Bremen (i.e. North Low Saxon, Eastphalian and Westphalian). Illustrations visualise unfamiliar terms and maps illustrate the linguistic geography.
The „Niedersächsisches Wörterbuch" is aimed equally at experts and interested amateurs, dialectologists, local historians and amateur linguists, as well as anyone with an interest in the Low German dialects of Lower Saxony and Bremen.
