‘New School Nietzsche’ reexamines Nietzsche in three parts (Nietzsche for everyone, for no one and for the future), without methodological restrictions or fear of taboos (e.g. Nietzsche's syphilis), but with a work-related focus: only Nietzsche's Nietzsche (from 1878) is of interest, not Wagner's, not Förster’s and certainly not that of the Nazis. And it does so by concentrating on biography and psychology. A Nietzsche, then, for a time that needs secularisation worldwide like none before it and in which one has to relearn about Nietzsche's anti-Christianity: it is not an addition to but a conditio sine qua non of Nietzsche's ‘new enlightenment’.
