Onkologisch erkrankte Jugendliche in der stationären pädiatrischen Versorgung

In order for the care of oncologically ill adolescents to meet their needs, it is necessary to capture their perspective on their experience of illness in acute inpatient care. In order to activate the resources of the patients, it is indispensable to analyze their coping strategies. The author has empirically investigated the perspective of young people and their coping strategies in experiencing the acute phase of illness. In her research, she focuses on the adolescent orientation and uses the study to show three central findings on coping in inpatient care.
