Online wie offline?

With the growing influence of digital forms of expression, their negative consequences become more and more apparent. They are increasingly used for the dissemination of hate speech. Consequently, the question arises to what extent the standards of the analogue world are also transferable to the digital world and whether special sets of rules are needed to counter the dangers of online expressions. The World Wide Web as a global means of communications and the intermediaries as global companies require a comparative legal consideration of universal and regional European international law, supranational EU law and national (German) constitutional law of these issues.
