Paralleljustiz und Clankriminalität

This work is the first to combine legal dogmatic analyses – from migration law to criminal procedure law – with criminological findings. It examines typical forms of informal dispute resolution in the clan milieu and their causes, sheds light on constitutional requirements and the effects on criminal proceedings. It is based on the author's own qualitative surveys. The work reveals a complex structure of causes and develops differentiated options for action. As a result, it becomes clear that a close interlinking of repressive and preventive measures – in particular through social space-oriented crime prevention – is necessary in order to effectively counter parallel justice.
