Description
In his third creative phase, Ricœur moves towards a sophisticated understanding of human practice, which takes shape in political forms of life and, in so doing, raises the question of who we are in the context of a coexistence that deserves to be called good and just. This is embodied by a human self that, going beyond narrative identity, depends on attestation and recognition. Consequently, it finds itself entangled in asymmetrical and reciprocal relationships, the binding social, political and technical conditions of which are discussed in detail in this volume.
