Politikvermittlung durch Parteien in der Spätmoderne

For several years, democratic elections around the world have been accompanied by debates about voter manipulation via social media. The reflexive diagnosis is often: democracy is in danger, technology is to blame, regulation is necessary. In addition to the question of whether democracy is actually under threat, what role political parties play in this, and how this should be assessed under constitutional law. The work also highlights the technological and social transformation processes that are causing or exacerbating the current challenges facing western democracies. The broad interdisciplinary approach provides an overview and a basis for further research and is aimed at interested parties from all disciplines.
