Politische Theorie nach dem Eurozentrismus

The fact that political theory is Eurocentric has long been a subject of debate. This edited volume from the DVPW Section on Political Theory and the History of Ideas therefore goes one step further: towards a political theory beyond Eurocentrism. In the spirit of Comparative Political Theory, it brings together contributions from various authors and perspectives that collectively pursue this aim – through methodological debates and meta-reflections, by identifying the problematic aspects of specific Eurocentric bodies of knowledge and perspectives, through global perspectives and debates aimed at fostering global political reflection, and through initial steps towards updating existing universalisms.
