Politisches Denken in Europa | Political Thought in Europe
Description
In a heuristic sense, the term 'political realism' can be understood as a theoretical position that contests the possible foundations of political order on the basis of timeless principles, ideals and norms. Instead, the paradigm of 'political realism' seeks to develop the genesis of governance and sovereignty from inner-historical or anthropologically founded power dynamics. This anthology contains contributions that, arguing systematically and historically, demarcate political realism from the leading fundamental positions of classical and modern political philosophy.
