The second volume in the series "Political Thought in Europe" continues the exploration of political realism in three key areas: first, the historical reception of key thinkers; second, the geopolitical application of realism to contemporary conflicts such as the war in Ukraine; and third, critical reflection on contemporary political theories. This volume explores the ethical and political implications of realist frameworks, highlighting their continuing urgency in a world marked by power struggles and the erosion of normative foundations in an era of emerging global crises.
