This handbook offers well-founded insights from a wide range of police research and is aimed at readers from academia and practice. The contributions also highlight perspectives for future research on the police.
The handbook is aimed at anyone who deals with aspects of policing in a well-founded and comprehensive manner, whether as students at police training institutions, as teachers there, as students and colleagues from the social sciences, law and other related disciplines, as practitioners from the police, politics and civil society, or as cultural professionals or media representatives.
