Prinzipien, Grundlagen, Methodik und Qualität psychologischer Begutachtung in familiengerichtlichen Verfahren

This special issue of the journal “Rechtspsychologie” (Legal Psychology) is devoted to the very urging topic of the quality and scientific basis of psychological expert evidence in family law cases. The articles deal with the problems in this particular field of applied legal psychology from several perspectives. Among the authors are lawyers and psychological practitioners as well as scientists conducting empirical research. Main foci are the diagnostic methods used, criteria applied in making inferences and recommendations in family law cases, and professional ethical as well as legal standards that have to be met.
