The qualitative study is a revised, supplemented and expanded version of the final report on the project "Evaluation of Concepts for the Transformation of the Skilled Nursing Quota in Nursing Facilities" for the State Ministry MASTD in Rhineland-Palatinate. Two variants of the Primary Nursing idea in two inpatient facilities for long-term care in old age were tested experimentally and accompanied scientifically. The empirical findings of the accompanying research under the difficult corona-crisis times are embedded in broader economic-legal and organizational-cultural-organizational-development-theoretical considerations and are discussed in care-related and socio-political contexts.
