This thesis examines issuer liability under German law, drawing from the fields of law and economics. Its focus is the impact of existing legal rules on the efficient allocation of investment capital on the capital market. With this approach, the thesis reveals new insights into existing laws and proposes future policy changes. This research will be of interest to lawyers, scholars and policy makers alike.
