Description
The PEPPI Report documents the development of a European platform for the prevention of over-indebtedness and the establishment of national information and advisory structures in thirteen EU Member States. It outlines the creation of a Knowledge Platform and an Online Academy aimed at strengthening and professionalising debt advice services. The book presents key findings, challeng-es and practical approaches, and includes a curriculum for the training of debt advisers within the framework of the EU Consumer Credit Directive. It is the first study with these objectives done in Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Romania, Slovenia, Slo-vakia and Spain. Many stakeholders have been involved in each country.
