Provisorische Ewigkeit

This volume makes contemporary reflections on the state theory of the early ‘Bundesrepublik’ accessible in a new way. The development of its slow stabilisation has so far mostly been traced with regard to specific disciplines, political currents or central schools of thought. This volume shows that the attempts to give the ‘provisional’ early BRD a state and constitutional theoretical profile were much more diverse and ramified. The book places special emphasis on the cross-connections between historical, political science, sociological, economic and legal discourses.
