Description
It is becoming increasingly difficult to organise services in a future-oriented way with the resources available: Increase quality - reduce costs - act sustainably - create room for manoeuvre. A successor had to be found for the functional form of organisation that had been taught for decades: The process organisation. This extends thinking in the direction of input-process-output.
The author gives (junior) managers as well as teachers and students a holistic insight into the change of processes - starting from the target image via the strategies, processes and resources. The focus is on people. Using small and large practical examples, the author presents methods of process organisation.
Prof. Dr Paul Brandl held a professorship for organisational development and process management until 2019. He is a lecturer, specialist author and consultant in the social and healthcare sector. His work focuses on process optimisation, particularly in the field of mobile and inpatient care and nursing.
