Rechtliche Anforderungen an die Zulassung stofflicher Speicher in Salzkavernen

Monographic research on the legal framework of underground storage of resources and energy in salt caverns. This research examines the current discussion about the modification of the Bundesberggesetz (BBergG) and portrays the conflicting legal positions. After portraying the different interests and legal positions of the project developer, residents and the authorities, weaknesses of the current legal permission are identified. As a result the author presents options to remove the legal permission of the underground storage in salt caverns from the Bundesberggesetz. As a replacement a more specific legal framework which considers the conflict positions more efficiently is discussed.
