Long before legislation and the idea of an objective legal order law was created when individuals mutually acknowledged subjective rights. Reciprocity is at all times a fundamental aspect of human life. Beside statute and command intersubjective relations have to be considered a source of law. The creation of law through intersubjective relations suggests itself to perceive the individual human person as the point of reference for the concept of law. Therefore a rule can be considered to be part of the law provided on mutual acceptance life and property are protected, contractual agreements are observed and damage has to be settled.
