Rechtsfragen zur Wirtschaftsunion

In discussions on the subject of the Economic and Monetary Union deficiencies in terms of agreed economic policy among the EU Member States often call forth criticism. Many regard as dangerous the fact that Member State competence is waning with a deficit, at the same time, in terms of Union decision-making powers. In the face of such conflict, which is often played out in the absence of sufficient knowledge of Union regulations, it has become particularly urgent to clarify their basis in law. Centre stage in this analysis of economic policy, coupled with its economic and political implications, stand EC Treaty provisions on the coordination of economic policy and budget discipline.
The survey is aimed at all who have an interest in the legal, economic and political-science management of economic policy processes at the European and nation state level.
