The increasing use of software in objects and their integration into networks allows manufacturers to expand the functions of an object, but also to limit them. This thesis examines the consequences of this development for the area of dispositions. The subject of consideration is possession as a prerequisite for transfers of ownership, taking into account digital access options for functionality. Furthermore, the paper deals with the relationship between property ownership and claims to the provision of functions. In doing so, the thesis develops a conceptual approach that aims to protect the value of ownership of networked objects in the course of transfer processes.
