The idea of impact orientation is currently becoming increasingly central to public reform discourse. Drawing on numerous practical examples, this anthology offers new perspectives for a challenging approach to state and administrative modernization. In 18 articles, the fields of innovation “Instruments and methods of impact management,” “Collaboration and networking as the basis for effective public administration,” and “The role of leadership, competence building, and marketing” are analyzed from a transdisciplinary perspective and developed into guidelines for action.
