Reforms in Vietnam

Vietnam’s current administrative reforms are drawing attention in continents, often compared with reform initiatives in some other countries. Yet such views overlook the country’s long-standing tradition of reform. Over more than a millennium, Vietnam’s political, economic, and social systems have undergone profound transformations initiated by diverse authorities, from early autonomous regimes and feudal dynasties to the colonial period and the modern era.
