Religiöse Pluralisierung im öffentlichen Raum
calcActive())">
Description
For the first time, the historical development of the current religious plurality in Berlin and Brandenburg is presented here. The aspects that have been decisive for the establishment of religion-specific and divided sacred spaces in five phases over the past 300 years are illustrated in words and pictures. The types of sacred buildings of different religions and different paradigms of the sharing of space between cultures and religions are discussed first. Then, based on these historical insights, perspectives are developed for sacred architecture, urban and regional geografic planning and the role for religion in public space. The author, who is herself involved in interreligious work, both practically and academically, proposes seven transformational impulses for a sharing of space between religions in the form of interreligious conviviality.
