Religion und Ethik
calcActive())">
Description
Anyone who deals with religions will come across the special form of thinking known as ethics—sometimes in contradiction to religion. Those who study ethics, on the other hand, will come across religions—and sometimes as the better alternative to ethics. The typical confrontations in this respect, which are clarified in this textbook, have their ‘true core’, which the book identifies, thus overcoming stereotypical attributions about ethics and religions and developing more precise ideas of them: Religions are less world views than communitarian social practices in which ethics also takes place. This book is aimed at students of religious studies, practical philosophy and political theory as well as forms of religion-related and denominational theology.
