Reorganisation des ASD

The ongoing shortage of skilled staff in general social services (GSS) is further exacerbated by the difficulty of balancing family and work commitments, particularly due to the core task of child protection. Based on a ‘Generalised Local Authority Model’, this as well as the reorganisation models ‘Specialised Child Protection Service’ and ‘Rotating Child Protection Service’ are conceptualised and analysed. The findings of this exploratory study, consisting of a survey and a utility analysis, show that a partial organisational realignment of child protection can promote work-life balance while maintaining key professional principles.
