This compilation discusses the term „resilience“ („Resilienz“) for the first time in a legal context in Germany. It offers a comprehensive access to this field for those who want to get acquainted with this topic, and a new perspective for those who have occupied themselves with resilience.
Crises of many kinds rise the question of resilience of law: What are the factors that hinder or prevent the collapse of legal order and the legal system? How can resilience of law be increased? The contributions to this volume examine different ways to a more resilient law, including theological and sociological approaches.
