More than ever, the world is faced with the need to develop a sustainable peace order in which all political, ideological and religious communities are involved and which they all support. Based on the previous volumes, which analysed secular conceptions of peace as well as Jewish, Christian and Islamic concepts of peace, this volume juxtaposes partly divergent and partly concurring conceptions of peace, examines them for commonalities and elaborates principles of a global trans-secular and interreligious peace ethic.
