Schillers Philosophie des Geistes

This book reconstructs Schiller's philosophy as a philosophy of mind and analyzes its systematic content. The focus is on his theory of free will and education, his ethics and aesthetics, and his attempt to clarify the mind-body problem. In addition to his well-known philosophical main writings, the book also takes into account his lesser-known early writings. Schiller's philosophy thus proves to be prolific in many respects, surprisingly also for the analytic philosophy of mind.
