In this work, the current German prostitution legislation (ProstG i.V.m. ProstSchG) is subjected to a legal-ethical and constitutional examination by experts in the field.
In this respect, the legislative assumption of the voluntariness of sex selling is questioned, as is the right to sexual self-determination of prostitutes with regard to their dignity examined.
For this purpose, in a first step, the legalisation of prostitution will be reviewed in the context of international and European law.
Finally, the question of compliance with human dignity in prostitution is answered with regard to legal ethics.
In a second step, the existing legislation is examined for its constitutionality on the basis of fundamental rights.
