Softwareverträge aus urheberrechtlicher und vertragsrechtlicher Perspektive

This work presents a comparative legal study of software contracts and a copyright analysis of software and its usage. The study encompasses German, French, and English law, while considering EU law. It covers standard software licensing, cloud computing, and the development and provision of bespoke software. The copyright section elaborates on the fundamentals of software, its usage, and the right to use. The work also analyzes the terminology of Software Directive 2009/24/EC, specifically the terms "copy," "first sale," "lawful acquirer," and "use of the computer program (...) in accordance with its intended purpose" in the context of newer software technologies.
