Soziokulturelle Nachhaltigkeit in der Peripherie

In its first part, this publication records the key results of the research project Sociocultural Sustainability and its Legal Framework: Focus Periphery. On the one hand, the authors discuss the cooperation between and the identity of regional actors in the peripheral region of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. On the other, they present the legal framework for promoting sustainability in the area. The second part of the book comprises two studies on the role of cultural education in sustainable regional development and on the role of participation in sustainable planning. Finally, ideas from practical representatives of the national park region are presented.
