Description
The successful implementation of science shop projects with a participatory claim requires the balancing of fields of tension in the context of power and relationship constellations as well as (innovation) networks. Based on this thesis, the present study derives central fields of tension (regulation versus openness, short-termism versus sustainability, instrumentalization versus reciprocity, cooperation versus competition) theoretically and examines them using the example of the research projects of a university-based social work science store. On this basis, we formulate recommendations for action in the field of tension mediation.
