Spionage und Strafrecht

Espionage and hybrid threats pose new challenges to democratic societies governed by the rule of law. This volume explores how criminal law can respond without undermining fundamental legal guarantees. Based on two German-Taiwanese workshops at National Taiwan University and LMU Munich, the contributions provide a comparative analysis of espionage, its links to organised crime, hybrid threats, and key issues of national security criminal law. Combining doctrinal, constitutional, comparative, and criminal policy perspectives, they offer new insights into the development of a modern legal framework for protecting democratic states. The volume is intended for both academics and practitioners.
