Spiros Simitis – sein Vermächtnis

The highly esteemed national and international legal scholar Prof. Dr. Dr. hc mult. Spiros Simitis was not only a pioneer of data protection law, but also made important contributions in other areas of law, such as labor law, family law, product liability law, legal history, legal theory, European law and comparative law. In their topicality, their impact continues far beyond his death and the time of research. This volume brings together the supplemented and revised contributions of renowned companions. These were presented at the central commemorative event at Goethe University in January 2024. They impressively present Spiros Simitis' wide-ranging life's work and pay tribute to his personality.
