Strafverfahren und Kommunikationskompetenz

Criminal trials are characterised by communication. In addition to legal knowledge, a high degree of communication competence in dealing with the other players - clients, prosecutor's, victims, witnesses and court - is therefore required. These "key qualifications" can already be acquired during the course of studies. The volume presents models for practice and study, communication situations in the main criminal trial and models for out-of-court conflict resolution. The aim is to sensitise students, trainees and young professionals to the communicative challenges they will face in criminal proceedings. At the same time, a practice-oriented offer for the area of "key qualifications" relevant to studies and examinations, as well as a guideline, is made available to teachers in this area, explaining how a course can be structured and devised in a well-founded manner.
