The support for electricity generation from renewable energy sources is – not only since the “Energiewende” – promoted in many European countries. The completion of the internal energy market is currently progressing slowly. For domestic and foreign investors it is vital to know which legal framework has been established in the respective States.
Germany and Spain are among the leading nations in producing electricity from renewable energy. The thesis is therefore committed to the goal, to analyze the legal framework of the electricity generation from renewable energies in Spain and to compare it with the legal situation in Germany. In addition to regulations on planning and construction of renewable energy plants, the feed regime for such technologies are scientifically examinated.
