Strukturen und Richtlinien professioneller Vertragsgestaltung

The work offers the foundation of a method of professional contract design for notaries and lawyers. By structuring the decision-making process of contract lawyers, the aim is – in addition to making their work easier – to provide the best possible support for the contracting parties in exercising their private autonomy. The author analyzes contract type theory and business decision theory as possible foundations of the method. One focus is on the generation of network externalities through standard form contracts. The effects of digitalization on the drafting process and the notarization procedure are highlighted in a separate chapter.
