Transparenz auf dem Immobiliensektor

To what extent can the entitlement to real estate be traced via existing registers? The investigation of this question focuses on the legal situation in Germany, whereby comparative legal references to British common law are also included. In particular, it examines the extent to which sanction enforcement laws have improved the traceability of ownership and entitlement structures in Germany and whether the path to the land register should be paved unconditionally for third-state companies. The work is aimed in particular at practitioners and researchers who want to take a closer look at the causes of non-transparent entitlement structures and corresponding solutions.
