Transzendentale Theologie

Richard Schaeffler’s transcendental theology, as Rahner already attempted, wants to indicate what is talked about when God is spoken of in a secularised world that places all talk of God under suspicion of meaninglessness: Not the top of the pyramid of being or the scale of values is the primary place where God can be sought, but every object of experience and its claim on our looking and thinking can become the figure in which God meets man. For Schaeffler, experience is a dialogue that can only be conducted with the reality of the world because it deciphers the claim of the real as the present form of a free divine address.
