Unterlassungsstrafbarkeit in globalen Lieferketten

Do corporate executives in Germany bear criminal liability if harm is caused to interests protected by German criminal law in distant production locations in the context of global supply chains? In order to answer this highly topical question, the study combines the traditional criminal law discussion on liability for omission with current requirements for supply chain management, in particular under the German Supply Chain Act. On this basis, it develops a model for the conditions under which criminal liability can be justified.
