Versorgungssicherheit mit kritischen Rohstoffen?

Critical minerals and metals are at the centre of strategic supply issues for the major industrialised nations. Germany is highly dependent on raw material imports from abroad and has largely neglected strategic raw material security over the last decade. The study focuses on two main areas: first, it highlights the problems and risks associated with national and European raw material supply on the basis of four raw material markets (rare earths, lithium, cobalt and indium). Secondly, it systematically examines Germany's raw materials strategy and the effectiveness of its main policy instruments in the period 2010 to 2022.
