Professional esports has grown into a multi-billion-dollar industry, yet the legal framework governing many contractual relationships remains unclear. This thesis provides legal certainty for esports organizations, players, consultants, and legal practitioners by systematically examining the classification of professional esports players under labor law. On this basis, it develops practical solutions for contract terms, compensation systems, transfers, benching, contract jail, and the handling of minor players. The study combines traditional labor and contract law doctrine with the demands of a dynamic industry and provides concrete recommendations for practice.
