Vertrauen basiertes Lehrverhalten gegenüber berufsbegleitenden Studierenden an privaten Hochschulen

How important is trust in the teacher-student-relationship? What expectations do students have regarding trust, and how can teachers foster it through their behaviour?
Using an interdisciplinary, theory- and model-based approach, the author answers these and other questions. In the empirical part of the thesis, he analyses problem-centred interviews with lecturers and demonstrates that they gain the students’ trust by taking into account seven factors of trust-building teaching behaviour.
Volker Eickenberg teaches as a professor at various universities and has been researching interpersonal trust in different relationship constellations for more than 15 years.
