Verwaltungsverfahrensrechtliche Möglichkeiten zur Erzielung und Steigerung von Akzeptanz bei Großprojekten

The acceptance of planning decisions has been the subject of intense debate in legal circles since the protests against 'Stuttgart 21', if not before. The rapid expansion of the infrastructure necessary for the energy transition can only succeed if opposition is minimised and delay-related additional costs are reduced. The study examines the regulatory deficits in the current planning approval process with regard to its suitability for generating acceptance among third parties, and proposes legal reforms.
